DEVOTIONAL: Proverbs 3:9
"Honour the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce." Jesus is working all the time- He is protecting us from unseen evil, He has planned our futures and is walking with us everyday. Sometimes we forget this but He never forgets about us. We are constantly on His mind because He loves us that much. The Word, tells us not to worry and yet so often we are overcome with anxiety for the future, worrying about what today and tomorrow will hold. When we fall into this trap, let's remember that Jesus is working all the time, that He is protecting us and has hope for our futures. It is easy to get lost in our own thoughts but here God is asking us to honour Him and by so doing - by honouring Him in everything that we do - we are to constantly and consciously carry Him in our hearts and minds, instead of constantly worrying.
