DEVOTIONAL: Psalm 63:8

 "My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me."

As we experience life, its hardships and its blessings we come to see Gods hand in it all. Emerging on the other side of the valleys of life, one especially learns that God has carried us through and when we marvel at the wonderful things in our life and in the world we cannot help but to see how God has blessed us. How then can our souls not cling to He whom has never left our side and never let us down. 

Today, let us give thanks to God for never abandoning us, lets give thanks for both good and bad life experiences because ultimately they become our testimony to Gods steadfastness and how good He has been to us. 

Amen.

DEVOTIONAL: Zephaniah 3:17

DEVOTIONAL: Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God  is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing." Oh Lord Jesus, our saviour and friend, thank you for always being with us, your children, for never leaving our side, for your omnipresence.  How beautiful is it that You will rejoice over us with gladness, that You, oh Lord make a fuss over us - sinners? Your word says that you will bring your children quietness with your love. Thank you for that experience, for providing peace that the world cannot. You oh Lord quiet the storm.  Your children have no reason to fear, to worry because as Your word says, You have already overcome the world. All we need do is just believe.  So today, lets leave all our storms with the Lord. Let Him work it out. Allow His promises to quiet our hearts. Trust and believe.  Amen.

DEVOTIONAL: John 3:16

  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." How often as human beings do we feel not good enough, not chosen? How can we feel this way knowing how much God loves us that He sacrificed His Son for us? Its human nature to feel less than sometimes but as Christians we must remember that we are chosen, that we are good enough and the proof is that God sacrificed His Son for us.  Trying to understand what God did and why He did it from the position of being a parent, it is hard to fathom. Honestly, there is no one for which I would sacrifice my  child for and yet, this is what God did for us. This is what He knew He was going to do from the very beginning and all to save us, sinners.  If this act of God is not enough to show us how much God loves us, how much he cares for us then I don't know what is.  Today, lets remember that we are loved, we are chosen.
